August 31 is the release date for the new material, so the launch takes us straight back into the water.

The level limit has been increased to 40, and new enemies and creatures have been removed.īesides the funny conspiracy theory aspect of the DLC, we will also see some Maneater novelties. Players can expect more action in the new locations of the islands off the coast of the city. The comedian Chris Parnell returns as a journalist and narrator on a journey that accompanies the protagonist bull shark, who is involved in a conspiracy against the city and the navy. In this DLC, players will learn more about the Naval Wildlife Organization and the whole conspiracy regarding Port Clovis. From a Nature Documentary to a full-blown conspiracy theorist you will play a mutant bull shark, this time investigating the Naval Wildlife Organisation and the nefarious things that go on in Port Clovis. It is up to the conspiracy theorists to point out that the original Maneater is tangible evidence that the government was behind the reporting. This is a great game for what it aims to do, I really enjoy it and it is a nice break from multiplayer games, its a great break to me and I am at peace chewing everything on sight.A trip to Westhaven triggers a frenzy and brings to life the Truth Quest canal, which leads its followers from the Quester into the deep water to uncover the dark secrets of the history of the whales. Heck, the way this tale is so wacky, we could end up on a alien water world and wreck havoc over there too, becoming even larger.
#Maneater dlc release date plus#
While playing as other creatures could be a lot of fun, further developing our sharks is always a plus too. Is also something I am interested on if it ever becomes a thing, could be smaller additions i suppose.įor future DLCs, I would not mind if they made a Tier 6 for the now 4 existing mutation sets, making the shark's body even more covered and scary/impressive. The ideas behind playing as an Alligator, Great White Shark, Orca, etc.

That is me and my nerdy side speaking but I would love it, i like creatures from that theme (trying to avoid spoilers). I would really like to play and grow as the final boss of this DLC. I honestly am not a huge Hammer Shark fan (all sharks rank similarly to me, provided they are large), but this design does comes together rather nicely.

The new mutation set is now my favorite, both visualy and the way it plays. Though I don't have a huge love for the time trials, however, it was well executed and did add another type of goal. The usage of existing maps was nice, loved hunting Fans. It expanded the existing elements nicely while making our sharks even more fearsome.
